Fourth quarter comeback almost gets win for WA

Wheaton Academy as a team played three lackluster quarters of basketball on Thursday night. Non-effective defense, failure to box out, and a lack of patience on the offensive end was what dug the Warriors into a 15+ point hole.

Things picked up slowly in the third quarter, and in the fourth the Warriors really started to heat up. They brought the score to within four points, 64-68 with 1:30 left to play. Unfortunately, WA could never cut in on that four points in the time left.

The team will play Saltfleet H.S. from Canada on Saturday afternoon to conclude tournament play.
