Paul Ferguson returned to Wheaton Academy for the 2006-07 school year after spending seven years assisting at Wheaton College. Previously, from 1995-1999, Ferguson served as sophomore Warrior head coach, compiling a 50-38 record and serving as a varsity assistant.
Ferguson, a native of Simsbury, Connecticut, is a 1994 graduate of the University of Notre Dame where he earned a BA in history. Ferguson served as a student-assistant on the John Macleod-led Irish basketball teams from 1992-94. As a member of the Fighting Irish staff he was heavily involved in scouting and recruiting during his tenure. While in college he fought in the Bengal Bouts and was named as one of the captains of the Notre Dame boxing squad in his junior year.
In 1995 Ferguson taught at Brother Rice High School in Chicago and coached the freshman boys basketball team. His squad recorded a 22-3 mark that season. Ferguson also served as a varsity assistant coach on the Brother Rice squad that won Chicago's Catholic League Championship. During the summer he serves as the assistant director of the Wheaton College Basketball Camp and as also served on the staff at Five Star Basketball Camp in Pennsylvania since 1991.
Ferguson is the oldest of seven children. He has a Master's Degree from Aurora University in Education, which he earned in 1997 and has recently completed a Master's Degree from Wheaton in Evangelism and Spiritual Formation. Paul and his wife, Michelle (former Student Services Coordinator), live in Wheaton and have two boys: Ty and Benjamin.

Kevin Bishop is no stranger to Warrior Basketball. Kevin was a key component on three highly successful WA teams. As a sophomore he played under Coach Ferguson on the sophomore level, and was also played a key reserve role in leading the Warriors to the first regional title in school history. As a Junior and Senior he played on teams that had consecutive 20 win seasons and two PSL championships. Kevin went on to have a successful career at Wheaton College where he was a member of the team with fellow Wheaton Academy standouts Jon Nielson and Jim Fortosis, on nationally ranked Thunder squads. Coach Ferguson says of Kevin, "Kevin is an outstanding young coach who relates very well to high school students. He has a great passion for the game of basketball and integrates that with his love for the Lord." Coach Bishop has worked extensively in Warrior summer camps and is a highly competent coach and great Christian role model for his players. Kevin is currently finishing his Masters degree in Teaching at Aurora University.

Andrew Tink comes to Wheaton Academy having grown up in Waterloo, Iowa. Andrew attended Walnut Ridge Baptist Academy where he played basketball and was an all-state soccer player. At Wheaton College, he served as the student intramural director under Coach Ferguson. In 2006 Andrew graduated from Wheaton with a bachelor's degree in History, and since then has finished his certification in social sciences and his master's of arts in teaching.
Coach Tink has two brothers. His brother Aaron currently attends Wheaton College and his younger brother John will be a junior at Walnut Ridge this year. Andrew teaches Social Studies at Wheaton Academy in addition to serving as the varsity assistant coach. Coach Ferguson says of Tink, "Andrew is a very talented young coach who brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm. We are very excited to have him as a part of our program.
