Wheaton Academy faced Westminster Christian Academy Saturday afternoon from St. Louis, Missouri in an almost empty Warrior Dome. Westminster's team consisted of many players over the height of 6'2, and they proved to be very effective in the post.

Wheaton Academy played well though, for the most part in terms of their shooting performance. Allowing the opposing team offensive rebounds, as with this whole season, was a problem for the Warriors. Westminster had a 24-15 lead after the first quarter, and stretched that lead to 45-26 at the half.

The third quarter brought a run for the Warriors, inparticular Jason VanderVeen's performance of a steal, three point basket, a steal, and a layup - all within a time frame of about 30 seconds. WA played hard and were draining three's for awhile - but that was not enough to stop Westminster's big men from getting layups, as well as their outside shot.

Jason VanderVeen had a game high of 17 points, hitting three 3 pointers. John Tillery and Jeremy Parker each added 9, and Axel Cerny had 8 points.
