Wheaton Academy traveled to Rockford Friday night to play PSL opponent Rockford Christian Life. The starting five soon found themselves in a big hole, and were taken out of the game.
The Eagles of Christian Life scored almost all their points off of the fast break or penetration and a pass inside to a post man for a layup. WA's defense collapsed.
Christian Life continued their scoring and defeated WA, though Wheaton did make a little progress bringing the final score within nine points. Wheaton Academy gets this loss at a difficult time in the season, as they face PSL co-leader Walther Lutheran tomorrow night at home before going south to Masaac County, Illinois to play in a high-profile tournament next week.
